Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang. 30cm X 40cm X 3.5cm
Signed on the front.
In the Adelaide Himeji Garden I zoomed in with my camera and captured this lemon coloured water lily with its bright green lily leaves on the dark waters of the lake. Lilies are a special flower symbolizing resurrection because they close up at night and reopen in the morning. Its amazing how a flower so beautiful can grow and bloom from ordinary waters.

The early hours of the morning is a beautiful time to be on the beach when the day is just starting and the sun is rising. I captured the reference photo for this oil painting at Henley beach, Adelaide. The colours in the sky, sand and water are calming.

It was on a mindfulness meditation retreat in Gumeracha in the Adelaide Hills that I captured the photo for this landscape oil painting. This painting celebrates our beautiful strong gum tree which I leant on and touched its bark and trunk. I looked up to its reaching branches and leaves. The gate opens to a quiet dirt road where I walked and looked ahead to my future.
Second Valley Coastal View

'Second Valley Coastal View' oil painting was created from a reference photo I captured in Second Valley. I was standing on the rocks looking out over the stunning blue water to the Fleurieu Peninsula coastline with gold highlights from the sunshine.

I captured the reference photo for Moonta Jetty while standing on the jetty of Moonta Bay. The green waters contrasted with the rustic wood of the jetty. You can imagine standing on the jetty casting a line or being mesmerised by the water below.

The reference photo for 'Gums by the creek' was captured when I was walking beside the creek in the suburb of Tranmere, Adelaide, behind the Campbelltown art house. I love the structure of the gum tree, its smell and colours. It was lovely to be in nature while being in a suburb of the city.
Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang. 61cm X 76cm X 3.5cm
Signed on the front.
'Altona' is an oil painting of a view from the 135 year old pier of Altona, a seaside suburb of Melbourne. The weathered pier is currently being replaced because it was unfortunately failing structurally. The light weathered wood is a beautiful contrast to the emerald green sea.

The 'Steps to water' oil painting is a painting from a reference photo I took at the top of steps at the Port Noarlunga jetty, South Australia. Viewing this painting gives you a sense of dizziness as if you are standing at the top of steps ready to start the descent down. Port Noarlunga jetty is a popular fishing and diving platform with a reef at the end. When I have been on the jetty, the colors of the clean waters are a gorgeous green or turquoise depending on the weather.

When I found the octopus reference photo for this artwork, I knew I wanted the challenge of creating a 3D effect of tentacles and body against a dark background. The background compliments the octopus bright colour and contrasts against its light tentacles. The octopus is an amazing , beautiful and fascinating ocean creature.
Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang. 51cm X 61cm X 3.5cm

The 'Window' oil painting was created from a reference photo I captured while visiting Montsalvat which is an artists' colony in Eltham, Victoria. There is something beautiful about light shining through a window into a dark room especially an old window. This is my third window painting. 'Window in Montsalvat' and 'Stained Glass window' have sold.
Blossom
Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang. 30cm X 40cm X 3.5cm
Signed on the front.
When I saw the reference photo for this painting, I was immediately attracted to the white blossoms intricate details and shadows against a blue sky. I was surprised at the amount of time this painting took to complete because of the layering of the brighter flowers in the sunlight with the flowers in the shadows.

I was watching the tide from the Port Noarlunga jetty, South Australia being mesmerised by the colours in the water flowing onto the sand. I captured several photos and created "Mesmerising Tide' oil painting on canvas from one of the reference photos .
I created the 'Largs at sunset' oil painting from a reference photo I captured on Largs Bay beach, Adelaide. Adelaide is blessed to have spectacular western facing sunsets over the ocean.
Jam Fancies

Pink Frangipanis
Oil on wood, ready to hang. 40.5cm X 40.5cm X 3.5cm

The gorgeous scented pink frangipani is a stunning flower. This oil painting on wood panel took several layers of paint to get the desired effect of the darker foliage in the background with the sun beaten petals on the flower in the foreground.

The Aquamarine Delight oil painting is of a view from the Port Noarlunga Jetty in South Australia revealing the rustic weathered wood contrasting with the turquoise clear sea water below.

I captured the image for 'The Gorgeous Pink Rose' oil painting in my garden. The pink rose stands out against the green lawn in the background and the deeper green foliage in the garden bed below. The artwork highlights the structure of the rose and its delicate petals.

About me
I began to pursue my passion for creating art by participating in mixed media and drawing classes at the Victorian Artist Society in Melbourne. During this time, I created many watercolor paintings and several drawings which were shown in exhibitions. I later enrolled for the diploma of Visual Arts at Victoria University where I was introduced to painting in oils and printmaking. My family and I moved to Adelaide in 2020 where I transferred my art study to the Adelaide College of the Arts and completed the diploma of Visual Arts. I am now developing her own unique style of fine art using oils, watercolour, and pencils and recently purchased a printing press so is adding prints to my work. I exhibit my artworks in various exhibitions in Adelaide. My art is my way of revealing the beauty around us. ‘Your artwork has made me think about landscapes differently’ quote from the viewer.
