View from Granite Island no2 is my second 'View from Granite Island' oil painting. I took the reference photo while going for a walk around Granite Island, a small island off Victor Harbor, South Australia. In the painting I wanted to capture the beautiful view including its unique granite rocks and the vast ocean continuing into the horizon.
