Marino Rocks is a rocky beach of the Marino Rocks suburb of Adelaide. I took the reference photo for this image on a sunny day. The wet rocks become a deeper vibrant colour where as the dry rocks in the foreground are light pastel colours. This painting was exhibited at the 2023 Royal Adelaide Show and won first for the landscape/seascape division.
