I captured the reference photo for this painting while going for a walk on Port Noarlunga beach in South Australia on a beautiful sunny day. Port Noarlunga beach is one of the most pristine clean beaches in Australia. The jetty is popular for fishing with a reef at the end for divers. Port Noarlunga beach is one of my favourite places to visit. I have taken many reference photos on the jetty and beach for future paintings.
